This challenging 8.15-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you through the breathtaking natural beauty of the area surrounding Sonnenuhr. The trail offers an elevation gain of 798 meters and is estimated to take approximately 3 hours and 52 minutes to complete.

Starting at the designated parking area, you will embark on your journey into the wilderness. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. About 1.08 kilometers from the start, you will find a refreshing water source perfect for a quick rest stop. As you continue on, at around 1.4 kilometers, another parking area will be accessible.

Midway through your hike, at the 4-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Bergrestaurant Agrar, where you can refuel with some local cuisine. Additionally, various benches are scattered along the trail, providing opportunities to take breaks and enjoy the surrounding landscape.

For those interested in free flying, you will find the Startplatz Neustift Elfer and the corresponding landing site, Landeplatz Neustift, at around 4 kilometers from the start. These locations offer a unique perspective of the area from above.
