This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio Le Calate and Strada Provinciale 16 di Sassoferrato. As you begin your hike, you will come across the Vecchia Cartiera restaurant and a parking area at the trailhead. Be sure to park your vehicle here before setting off on your adventure. About halfway through the hike, you will reach a peak where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. This is a great spot to rest and have a snack before continuing on your journey.

At around 4.7 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Rifugio Le Calate wilderness hut, where you can take a break and perhaps spend the night if you choose to stay overnight. This hut offers a rustic accommodation experience with no fees required.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, you will pass by the information center known as Parcheggio di Camporege, where you can gather more information about the area and the trail. Be sure to check the forecast before embarking on this hike and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the journey.
