This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Monte Fontane, offering stunning views and historical points of interest along the way. The 4.4-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 331 meters is rated as moderate in difficulty, making it suitable for hikers with some experience.
Starting at a convenient parking area, you will soon come across a wayside shrine just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue, at 1.9 kilometers, you will reach the attraction known as Cerro di Monte Fontane, where you can learn more about the area's natural and cultural heritage.
Midway through the hike, at 2.11 kilometers, you will encounter the peak of Monte Fontane, offering panoramic viewpoints of the surrounding landscape. Just a bit further at 2.12 kilometers, you will find another viewpoint named Monte Fontane, adding to the scenic experience of the hike.
For sustenance, you will find the Ristorante Da Rinuccio at the start of the trail, allowing you to refuel before or after your adventure.
