Welcome to the hiking route in Elordia! This challenging circular trail covers a distance of 18.444 kilometers with an elevation gain of 486 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the picturesque Aska water feature located 3.09 kilometers from the trailhead. This serene spot provides a refreshing pause amidst nature. Continuing on, at 5.92 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the iconic Portillo de Flordi saddle, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, you'll encounter the Alto de Bizkarluz saddle at 7.81 kilometers and the Portillo del Alto de Bizkarluz saddle at 7.37 kilometers, both providing great vantage points to rest and take in the beauty of Elordia. For a more adventurous experience, the Elordia peak at 8.81 kilometers offers a challenging climb with breathtaking views at the summit.
As you make your way back, be sure to hydrate at the drinking water station located 3.15 kilometers from the starting point to recharge for the rest of your journey. Remember to bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before embarking on this demanding hike.
