This hiking route takes you through a challenging and extremely difficult trail in a beautiful area. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 12.012 kilometers with an elevation gain of 344 meters, making it a strenuous hike that will test your endurance.
Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Fuente de los renacuajos, a natural water source, approximately 1.88 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take a short break before continuing on. Further along the trail, at around 6.01 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Balsa de Erna, a picturesque natural water reservoir.
It is important to come prepared for this hike by bringing plenty of water, snacks, and wearing appropriate hiking gear. Due to the length and difficulty of the trail, it is recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey. Be sure to pace yourself and take breaks as needed to avoid exhaustion.
