The hike is approximately 4.467 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 146 meters, making it an easy and enjoyable trek suitable for hikers of all levels. The estimated duration for completing the route is around 1 hour and 23 minutes, but feel free to take your time and soak in the stunning views.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll come across the picturesque озеро Трек (Lake Trek) just 0.14 kilometers from the beginning of the hike. This serene spot is perfect for a quick rest and some peaceful moments surrounded by nature.

As you continue along the trail, around 0.51 kilometers from the start, you'll find Нальчикский зоопарк (Nalchik Zoo), a great spot for animal lovers to visit. Although it's slightly off the main trail, it's a worthwhile detour if you have the time.

Around 1.81 kilometers into the hike, there's a lovely picnic site perfect for a snack break or a leisurely lunch amid the greenery. Further along, at the 2.2-kilometer mark, you'll reach a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

After enjoying the sights, you can make your way back towards the starting point, passing by a few more interesting spots such as a historical memorial, various benches for relaxing, and even a restaurant if you fancy a post-hike meal.
