The trail starts at Parkplatz Ruetz Katarakt, where you can leave your car before embarking on this adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 1.84 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Bsuchalm restaurant, where you can take a break and refuel.
Further along the trail, at around 5.72 kilometers, you will find the Nürnberger Hütte alpine hut, which offers accommodation and sustenance. This is a good spot to rest and recharge before continuing your journey.
As you continue on, you will come across Simmingjöchl, a natural saddle point, at approximately 9.72 kilometers into the hike. This is a scenic spot where you can take in the surrounding views.
At the 11.21 kilometer mark, you will reach zur Magdeburger Hütte, where you can find more information and possibly take a break.
