This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Punta del Venerocolo in the mountainous area of Avio. The trail spans a distance of 22.024 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1725 meters, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll come across the Laghetto d'Avio, a serene lake located 2.57 kilometers from the beginning of the hike. As you continue, you'll pass by the Lago Venerocolo at the 8.21-kilometer mark, offering a picturesque spot to rest and enjoy the scenery.

Around the 8.28-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Rifugio Giuseppe Garibaldi, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel. Further along the trail, at 10.49 kilometers, you'll encounter the Passo del Venerocolo, followed by the Punta del Venerocolo at 11.01 kilometers, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
