This challenging hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Cavalmurone area. The trail is 9.375 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 310 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities for your convenience. Further along, at 1.17 kilometers into the hike, there is a drinking water station where you can refill your bottles.

About midway through the hike, at 3.11 kilometers, you will reach the picturesque viewpoint of Capanne di Cosola 12, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, at 4.69 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Monte Cavalmurone, a majestic natural wonder worth the climb.

For sustenance, there is a restaurant, Albergo Ristorante Capannette di Pej, located at 1.74 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and refuel before heading back.

The route is an out-and-back type, meaning you will return the same way you came. It is essential to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
