Hiking : Zugna Torta

This hiking route will take you to Zugna Torta, a peak in a beautiful area with stunning views. The total distance of the hike is 6.712 kilometers with an elevation gain of 836 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours and 38 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by Grotta Santa Barbara, a parking area located right on the trail. Just a bit further along the trail, at 0.64 kilometers from the start, you will come across Grotta Damiano Chiesa, a historic memorial. Continuing on, you will find Tettoia, a shelter about 0.55 kilometers from the start, providing a nice resting spot.

As you hike further, at around 2.46 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint overlooking the surrounding area. This is a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the scenery. Midway through the hike, at 3.36 kilometers from the start, you will reach the highlight of the route, Zugna Torta peak. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the landscape that make the challenging hike worth it.

On the way back, you can stop at the picnic site located 2.42 kilometers from the start for a well-deserved rest. Additionally, benches are available at the beginning of the trail for a quick break before or after the hike.
