This hiking route takes you through the scenic wilderness of Sestanhons. The trail is 11.938 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 728.0 meters. It is rated as difficult due to its length and elevation.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead, located at the beginning of the route. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the hike as there are limited facilities along the way.

About 3.27 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Cabane de Saunères, a wilderness hut where you can rest and enjoy the view. Further along, at 5.15 kilometers, you will find the Cabane de Peyrehitte, another wilderness hut with shelter facilities.

Around the midway point of the trail, at 5.71 kilometers, you will come across a boundary stone called F397E and a natural water source. As you continue on, you will encounter the Còth d'Estanhs saddle at 5.97 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
