This extremely difficult 39.21 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Monte Motola. The trail begins at a parking area 0.58 km from the start, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging journey.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. About 6.97 km from the start, you'll find Sacco - Rifugio Motola, a cozy alpine hut run by the soc. coop. ArcheoArte. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments before continuing your trek.

Keep pushing forward, and at around 10.9 km from the start, you'll reach the majestic peak of Monte Vivo. The panoramic views from here are truly breathtaking and well worth the effort it took to get there.

Further along the trail, at approximately 2.41 km from the start, you'll come across a scenic picnic site where you can rest and refuel while taking in the surrounding natural beauty. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a packed lunch and soak in the tranquility of the area.

As you approach the latter part of the hike, you'll encounter the peaks of Monte Motola sud, Monte Motola (vetta), and Monte Motola Est, each offering its own unique vantage point of the landscape.

Finally, at the end of your journey, just 0.07 km from the start, you'll find L'Uorto, a cozy restaurant where you can reward yourself with a delicious meal to refuel after the challenging hike.

With a total elevation gain of 1424 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for an all-day adventure.
