Welcome to the hiking route in the beautiful area of Uniz. This challenging out-and-back trail offers a total distance of 10.5 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 273 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, you will find a convenient parking area for your vehicle. As you continue, around 3 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a water source where you can refill your water bottles.

Venturing further, at around 0.5 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Túmulo Urlegiko Bizkarra archaeological site, followed by the Cromlech Urlegiko Bizkarra and Cromlechs tumulares Urlegiko Lepoa 1-7 sites along the way. These historic sites provide a glimpse into the area's rich past.

As you approach the 3.7-kilometer mark, you will reach the Olaintzingo Haitza peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Further along the trail, at approximately 5.2 kilometers from the start, you will find the Uniz peak, another great spot to take in the breathtaking vistas. Nearby, the Menhir Urlegi and Menhir Eskosko archaeological sites add a cultural touch to your outdoor experience.

Before heading back, make a stop at the Unizko lepoa saddle, located around 5 kilometers from the start, for one last look at the picturesque landscape.
