This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with diverse points of interest along the way. The trail is 2.396 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 317 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest. At 0.16 kilometers from the start, you will come across the historic ruins of "Pusti grad." Further along at 1.06 kilometers, you will find the "Planinska koča na Sv.Jakobu" alpine hut for a rest stop.

As you continue on, at 1.14 kilometers from the start, you will reach the archaeological site of "Sv. Jakob antiquity settlement." Just a bit further at 1.2 kilometers, you'll find the "Koča pri Franciju" alpine hut, which serves as the destination for this out-and-back hike.

Throughout the hike, there are also informational points and benches available for a break or to take in the surrounding nature. Additionally, at 0.98 kilometers from the start, there is the "Sv. Jakob" peak for a panoramic view of the area. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before you go.
