This extremely difficult 18.657-kilometer hiking route takes you to the stunning Weithaglacke area. The trail begins with a parking area at the start, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey.

As you progress along the route, approximately 1.55 kilometers in, you will come across a water source, providing a refreshing break for hikers. Further along at 9.33 kilometers, you'll reach the picturesque Weithaglacke, where you can admire the natural beauty and maybe take a rest.

If you find yourself in need of sustenance, the Wegscheid and Niederkaser restaurants are located close to the trail, providing the perfect opportunity to refuel before continuing your hike.

Throughout the trail, be sure to stay hydrated and carry enough water, as the length of the hike and the 690.0 meters of elevation gain make it quite challenging. Checking the weather forecast before setting out is also recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.

The trail is an out-and-back type, meaning you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. Remember to take in the scenic views and enjoy the adventure as you make your way to the beautiful Weithaglacke destination.
