This hiking route takes you to the picturesque area of Cerro del Sombrerete. The trail is 3.7 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 74 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners and families.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Roca deslizante de los Caballitos del Rey, a fascinating attraction just 1.64 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Nearby, at the same distance, you can also explore the historical city walls of the area.
Midway through your hike, approximately 1.85 kilometers from the start, you will find the peak known as Cerro del Sombrerete, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, the archaeological site of Zona arqueológica de Medina Elvira is located in the vicinity, although slightly off the trail.
