This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading to the destination of Peñón de las Majadas.

Starting off the hike, you will pass by a parking area and a restaurant called Restaurante La Cruz de Granada, where you can grab a bite to eat before heading out. As you continue along the trail, you will come across another parking area and the Montserrat restaurant, offering another opportunity for a quick break.

Along the way, you will also encounter the Estatua de Cristóbal Colón memorial, located about 0.38 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to learn about the history of the area before continuing on your adventure.

The trail is 4.339 kilometers in total, with an elevation gain of 240 meters. The duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 36 minutes. The difficulty level is rated as easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you make your way towards the destination, you will pass by the Cerro del Tío del Yeso peak and the saddle of Cerro del Tío del Yeso, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, you will reach the Peñón de las Majadas peak, where you can enjoy the breathtaking vistas before heading back the way you came.
