This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling approximately 11.993 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1192 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 5 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the route, there is a parking area that you can use to leave your vehicle before starting your hike. Around 1.6 kilometers into the trail, you will find a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.
As you continue on the trail, approximately 4.78 kilometers from the start, you will reach Heilig-Geist-Jöchl, a natural saddle offering panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to take in the scenery and have a snack before heading back.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 6 kilometers from the start, you will come across Seewl, a beautiful water feature where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. There are also several benches along the trail where you can rest and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Towards the end of the trail, around 0.1 kilometers from the start, there is a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottle and stay hydrated. Additionally, there is an alpine hut, Berghotel Kasern, located 0.08 kilometers from the trail, where you can stay overnight if you plan on an extended hiking trip.
