The Lechwanderweg is a beautiful hiking route that offers stunning views of the surrounding nature. Starting at the parking area, you will embark on a 4.131-kilometer circular journey that will take approximately 1 hour and 32 minutes to complete. The route has an elevation gain of 232 meters and is rated as easy in terms of difficulty.

As you begin your hike, you will come across the picturesque Schänzlesee lake, located 1.87 kilometers from the start. This serene spot is perfect for a quick rest or a photo opportunity. Continuing on, at the halfway point, you will reach the Salzbüheljoch saddle, which offers panoramic views of the area.

Along the trail, you will also encounter informative signposts such as Lechleiten and Holzgauer Haus, providing insights into the local flora, fauna, and history. As you near the end of your hike, be sure to stop by the Lechleitner Alpe for a refreshing break before completing the loop.
