At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by The Old Contemptibles pub, The Square Peg, and a Pret A Manger for some quick sustenance options. As you continue, you'll come across The Angel Drinking Fountain, The Crown pub, and the site of Blue Coat School memorial.

Midway through the hike, you can admire artworks such as The History of Old Square, Allegories of Methodist Teaching, and the Wattilisk. A water point is also available at the midway point for a refreshing stop.
