Welcome to the hiking route near Karhornbahn and Alte Salzstraße S0+ in the beautiful area. This circular trail offers a distance of 6.236 kilometers with an elevation gain of 362 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike with a duration of approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Jägeralpe parking area (Parkplatz Jägeralp-Express) just 0.15 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path at 2.66 kilometers, you will find the Hochalphütte, a restaurant and alpine hut perfect for a mid-hike break.
Around 2.93 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter multiple water points, providing a refreshing spot to rest and hydrate. Keep an eye out for the Grillplatz (BBQ area) at 0.35 kilometers, a great spot for a picnic.
At the 1.56 kilometer mark, you'll be delighted by a beautiful waterfall (Waterfall), adding a natural charm to your adventure. Additionally, establishments like the Jägeralpe and Sennkuchl restaurants are situated close to the trail for a post-hike meal.
