Welcome to this challenging hiking route to Runner Peak in Mount Seymour Provincial Park! This 10-kilometer out-and-back trail will take you on a journey through some of the most stunning natural beauty British Columbia has to offer.
Starting at Three Peaks Lodge, you'll begin your ascent through lush forested areas, surrounded by the calming sounds of nearby water sources. At just 0.22 kilometers in, you'll have the opportunity to stop by the King of the Mountain Cafe for a quick bite to eat before continuing on your adventure.
As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by several picturesque water features, including Loch Lomond and MSR Water Supply. Be sure to fill up your water bottle here to stay hydrated throughout the hike. The trail is rated as difficult due to its length and elevation gain of 778 meters, so make sure you come prepared with proper footwear and plenty of water.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach Pump Peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. As you continue onwards, you'll pass by Runner Peak, Mystery Peak, and Tim Jones Peak, each offering their own unique viewpoints and photo opportunities.
