This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning lakes and viewpoints. The trail spans approximately 9.875 kilometers with an elevation gain of 820 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first encounter Jessica Lake at a distance of 4.94 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, you will come across Mac Lake, which is situated at the same point as Jay Lake, St. Mary's Lake, Chickadee Lake, and Siskin Lake. These lakes offer serene vistas and a peaceful atmosphere for a rest stop before continuing on your journey.
As you hike, be sure to check out Polytrichum Lookout, located 2.38 kilometers into the trail, for a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Take in the beauty of nature at Robin Lake and Wren Lake, both located at different points along the route.
For a refreshing break, stop by the waterfall near Demelza Lake, with its soothing sounds and picturesque setting. Lastly, don't miss the West Vancouver Lookout at 3.53 kilometers from the start, providing a spectacular vista of the area.
