Mystery Lake Trail is a super easy hike that spans 1.784 kilometers with an elevation gain of 75 meters. The trail is an out-and-back route located in a picturesque area.

Starting off the hike, you will come across the King of the Mountain Cafe at just 0.22 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a perfect spot to grab a quick snack or drink before continuing on your journey. As you make your way further along the trail, you will reach Three Peaks Lodge located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great place to refuel and take in the surrounding scenery.

Around 0.3 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the Dog Mountain Trail Map Information Board, providing you with valuable information about the trail ahead. Continuing on, at 0.47 kilometers, you will find Dinkey Peak, a natural peak that offers stunning views of the area.

Throughout the hike, there are various water sources such as Loch Lomond and MSR Water Supply at different points along the trail, allowing you to replenish your water supply. Remember to stay hydrated and bring enough water for the duration of the hike.

The trail also offers facilities like benches at 0.2 kilometers in, providing you with a place to rest and take in the beauty of the surroundings.
