This challenging 8.017-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a picturesque area with stunning views and diverse points of interest. The trail starts at a convenient parking area with no fees and winds its way through the rugged terrain, offering a rewarding trek for experienced hikers.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by a beautiful alpine hut called Rifugio Medelet at 1.62 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further along the trail at 1.63 kilometers, you will come across a couple of picnic sites where you can rest and refuel.

At 2.03 kilometers, there is a natural water source for replenishing your supply, so be sure to bring plenty of water bottles. Along the way, you will encounter several informative points of interest that offer insight into the local history and landscape.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching Dosso della Ruccola, a peak located 0.51 kilometers off the trail. The views from this vantage point are breathtaking and worth the short detour.

Continuing on, you will pass by Punta Caravina at 2.96 kilometers and Dosso Pedalta at 3.74 kilometers. These peaks offer magnificent vistas of the surrounding area, making the climb well worth it.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to stop at the viewpoint at 2.94 kilometers for a final look at the stunning scenery. Additionally, there are memorial sites, BBQ areas, and benches along the trail for your convenience.

With a total elevation gain of 633.0 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure and pack accordingly. Remember to bring enough water, snacks, and proper hiking gear to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
