This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Ferrata Corno del Bene. The trail spans approximately 5.933 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 525 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 2 hours and 41 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a variety of points of interest along the way. About 1.62 kilometers from the start, you will find the alpine hut, Rifugio Medelet, providing a cozy spot to rest and enjoy the mountain views. Continuing on, at 1.63 kilometers, there is a picnic site perfect for a break surrounded by nature.
At around 2.03 kilometers, you will find a water source to refill your supplies, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the hike. As you venture further, at 2.93 kilometers, the trail leads you to the peak of Punta Caravina, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Other highlights of the hike include Dosso della Ruccola at 0.51 kilometers from the trail, Madonna della Caravina shrine at 2.91 kilometers, and several information points and picnic sites scattered along the route. Be sure to check out the viewpoint at 2.97 kilometers, which provides a stunning vantage point for taking in the scenery.
