This hike takes you to the stunning peak of Cotozzo in a remote and breathtaking area. The trail is 11.472 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 457 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.

As you start the hike, you will pass by a convenient parking area located right at the trailhead. From there, the trail steadily ascends towards the first point of interest, Il Barco peak, located 4.83 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Continuing on, you will reach Cotozzo peak at the 5.74 kilometer mark. This is the highlight of the hike, offering sweeping vistas and a sense of accomplishment at reaching such a prominent peak.

Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen for this challenging hike. It is also important to check the weather forecast before setting out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
