This hike takes you on a 7.866-kilometer circular route through the beautiful area of Chemin de Chaudefour à Montmie. The trail is considered difficult due to its length and elevation gain of 514 meters.
Starting off, you will pass by the stunning Lac des Hermines, located just 0.05 kilometers from the trail. As you continue, you will come across La Bergerie, a restaurant situated 0.11 kilometers from the trail, where you can take a break and refuel.
Further along the route, at 1.46 kilometers from the start, you will see the historic Croix de Seignavoux wayside cross. This is a great spot to pause and take in the surroundings.
At the highest point of the hike, 3.51 kilometers from the start, you will reach Puy de la Perdrix peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area.
As you make your way back, you will pass by viewpoints such as Croix de Seignavoux and other interesting points of interest.
