This hiking route takes you through the beautiful alpine landscapes near Grunt. The trail is 3.086 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 301 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It takes approximately 1 hour and 28 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across the historic memorial site at 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Continuing on, you will reach the Loibl Pass saddle, a natural geological formation, also at 0.02 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, at 0.37 kilometers, you will find an information point to learn more about the surroundings. Close by, at around 1.54 kilometers, is the peak of Grunt, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.

For accommodation options, the Koča na Ljubelju alpine hut is located right on the trail at the beginning of your hike. Additionally, there are parking facilities available at the start of the trail.
