This challenging hiking route takes you to Rifugio Monte Zugna in the beautiful mountainous area. The trail spans 11.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1108 meters, so be prepared for a workout. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 5 hours and 31 minutes.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the trailhead. Make sure to park your vehicle here before setting off. Along the way, you will find the restaurant La Svolta, where you can grab some sustenance to fuel your adventure. Further ahead, at around 0.47 kilometers from the start, there is a drinking water station to refill your supplies.
About 2.38 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Sant Antonio, a historic wayside shrine. Take a moment to appreciate the significance of this cultural landmark. As you continue on, at approximately 3.15 kilometers from the start, you'll find another drinking water station for your convenience.
At the halfway point of 5.95 kilometers, you'll reach Rifugio Monte Zugna, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views. This is a great spot to take a break before starting your journey back.
