This hiking route is a moderate 4.014-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 429 meters, taking approximately 2 hours to complete. The trail is located in a picturesque area with beautiful natural surroundings.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Fontana Potrich fountain about 1.71 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the fresh water from the fountain. Continuing on, at the same distance, you will also find the Madonna della Neve wayside shrine, adding a touch of historic charm to your journey.
For your convenience, there is a parking area located right at the start of the trail. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you, but if you run out, there is a drinking water station 0.04 kilometers from the start. Additionally, about 0.11 kilometers into the trail, you will find a bench where you can sit and rest if needed.
As you trek further, about 1.51 kilometers from the start, you will reach a picnic site where you can stop and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. Keep in mind that there are ruins of Calchera located 0.63 kilometers from the start, a site that adds a hint of history to your adventure.
