Located in a picturesque area, the Cascatelle hiking route offers a moderate level of difficulty with a distance of approximately 6.2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 240 meters. It is recommended to allocate around 2 hours for the round trip.
As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on the hike.
Midway through the route, at around 2.4 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the refreshing Fonte di Gello spring, providing a perfect opportunity to replenish your water supply and take a short break.
Further along the trail, at approximately 3.1 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the enchanting Cascata di Massacorbi waterfall, a captivating natural attraction that is definitely worth a visit. You can also explore the nearby Falesia di Massacorbi for some climbing adventures.
As you make your way back, at the same point where the waterfall is located, there is a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscapes, providing a perfect spot for some memorable photographs.
