This hiking route takes you through a captivating area with stunning natural beauty and rewarding views. The trail is an out-and-back route, with a total distance of 4.745 kilometers and an elevation gain of 298 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area, just 11 meters from the trailhead. A great spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. About 2.13 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the impressive peak of Peña Otañes, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.
Along the way, you will also find the cozy Bar Los Tilos and Bar Centro Social, perfect for a break or a quick bite to eat. These establishments are located off the trail, so you may want to plan your pit stops accordingly.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 2.37 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak, Peña de la Calleja, showcasing mesmerizing vistas to admire before heading back.
