Starting off at the parking area, you'll begin your ascent towards Holtfjellet. Along the trail, you'll come across informative signs such as "SKILT SØRLIA" and "Skurdalsposten" that provide insights into the surrounding nature and history. Make sure to take a break at the shelter located just 0.1 km from the start to catch your breath.

As you venture further, you'll reach "Putten," a peaceful water spot located 2.74 km from the start. This is a great place to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Continuing on, you'll encounter "Skilt Hvamtjernet" at 0.94 km from the start, offering more information about the surroundings.

At around 1 km from the start, you'll find "Hvamsetra," a picturesque picnic site perfect for a snack break. Further ahead, "Hvamsetra informasjon tabvle" provides additional information about the area's heritage.

The trail then leads you to "Holtfjellet," a natural peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, you can explore "Røverskansen," an archaeological site with a rich history dating back centuries.

As you make your way back, don't forget to stop by "Badeplass med benk" at 0.75 km from the start for one last scenic break. And if you need any more information, "Bratt bakke" is located 0.39 km from the start, providing you with additional insights into the trail.
