This hiking route takes you through the scenic and challenging GR-11 / Kulunkaren Bidea trail in Baztan. With a total distance of 12.867 kilometers and an elevation gain of 670 meters, this trail is known for its extremely difficult terrain, making it suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards the challenging peaks and historical sites along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by the Ameriketako euskal artzainen orroitharria memorial, commemorating the Basque shepherds of America.
