This challenging 8.522-kilometer hiking route will lead you through a beautiful area with an elevation gain of 733 meters. The trail is rated as difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding adventure.
Starting at the Mt. Maculot Registration Site, you will soon come across the Philippine Airforce Flying School 49th Anniversary Monument, located 2.9 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by various clearing picnic sites where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
About midway through the hike, at 3.85 kilometers from the start, you will find the Maculot Campsite and a campsite for accommodation. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey.
As you approach the Rockies viewpoint at 4.14 kilometers from the start, be sure to take in the stunning panoramic views of the area. This is a perfect photo opportunity and a great place to relax before heading back.
