This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 1.744 kilometers and an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it super easy in terms of difficulty and perfect for hikers of all levels.
As you begin your hike, you'll come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 440 meters into the hike, you'll reach Bassa del coll de Bofí, a lovely water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Further along the trail, at about 700 meters from the start, you'll pass by Collet del Vent, a picturesque saddle offering panoramic views of the area. As you continue on, you'll encounter various points of interest such as La Mata, an historic monument, and information points like GR 5 3M.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 830 meters from the start, you'll reach Avenc de la Fontfreda, a cave entrance that adds a sense of adventure to the trek. Nearby, you'll find Coll de Fontfreda and Pou de glaç de la Mata, providing insights into the area's history.
Along the trail, you'll also come across benches for resting and enjoying the scenery, such as Avenc de Sant Jaume and peaks like 911 and 907 offering stunning views of the surroundings. Information points marked by GR 5 3M signs are also scattered throughout the route, providing interesting facts about the area.
