Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Maggiore in the picturesque area. This moderate 4.381-kilometer trail offers stunning views and a chance to explore various points of interest along the way.
Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you'll soon come across the ruins of 'ex casa dell'abitante Carluccio' just 0.03 kilometers from the start. As you continue, at around 1.12 kilometers in, you'll find the entrance to the 'Grotta di San Michele', a cave worth exploring.
Further along the trail, at about 1.94 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of 'Pizzo Martino', offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Just 0.03 kilometers away, you'll find a wayside cross.
At the 1.7-kilometer mark, there is another peak named '.' which you can visit before continuing onwards. Along the way back, you can stop by the 'croce con targa dei Passionisti', located 0.08 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Remember to stay hydrated, especially as you approach the drinking water source at the beginning of the trail. Don't forget to take breaks and enjoy the viewpoints such as 'Pizzo San Salvatore' and 'Monte Maggiore' along the route.
