Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Maggiore! This moderate 4.381 kilometers long trail with an elevation gain of 399 meters will take around 2 hours to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey to Monte Maggiore. Just 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will come across the ruins of 'ex casa dell'abitante Carluccio', providing a glimpse into the area's history.

As you continue, approximately 1.12 kilometers from the start, you will find the entrance to the 'Grotta di San Michele', a natural cave worth exploring. Further along the trail at 1.94 kilometers, you will reach the peak of 'Pizzo Martino', offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at 2.19 kilometers, you will encounter the 'Monte Maggiore' peak itself, a perfect spot to rest and take in the breathtaking views. Nearby, you can also find the 'shelter' for a quick break.

Towards the end of the trail, at 2.19 kilometers, you will reach the 'Monte Maggiore' peak, marking the turnaround point of the out-and-back route.
