Italy Campania Caserta Rocchetta e Croce

This hiking route takes you through a scenic area with a total distance of 3.4 kilometers and an elevation gain of 363 meters, making it a moderate level hike. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest.

Starting off, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, about 30 meters from the start, you will find the ruins of the 'ex casa dell'abitante Carluccio'. Further along, at around 1.1 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the entrance to the 'Grotta di San Michele' cave.

At 1.7 kilometers, you will encounter a peak and a wayside cross nearby. A bit further, at 1.15 kilometers, another wayside cross stands along the trail. There is also a drinking water station nearby to refill your water bottles.

For panoramic views, at 1.46 kilometers, you can visit a viewpoint, and at 1.17 kilometers, another viewpoint awaits. Additionally, there is a wayside cross with a plaque dedicated to the Passionists at 80 meters from the trail.
