Starting at the parking area at Stationnement 3e rang Ouest, you'll begin your journey through the rugged terrain towards the peak of Mont Carleton. As you ascend, you'll pass by the viewpoint at 4.51 kilometers, where you can take a break and admire the surrounding landscape.

Continuing onwards, you'll reach the summit of Mont Carleton, the highest point in the area, at the 4.51-kilometer mark. Enjoy the panoramic views from this peak before retracing your steps back to the starting point.

Due to the length and elevation gain of the trail, this hike is rated as difficult. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
