The Tai To Yan Path is a scenic hiking route located in the Yuen Long District. This trail offers hikers a 3.1-kilometer trek with an elevation gain of 232 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It is an out-and-back route, meaning you will walk the same path in both directions.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the "素食亭" fast food joint just 0.07 kilometers from the trailhead. This could be a good spot to grab a quick snack before continuing on. Further along the trail at 0.1 kilometers, you will find the "黃竹園食水缸," a water source where you can refill your water bottles.
For those driving to the trailhead, there are parking spaces available at the beginning of the trail, just 0.0 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there is a shelter 0.05 kilometers in, providing a rest spot for hikers. Along the way, informational signage can be found at 0.1 kilometers, offering insights into the local area.
Midway through the hike at 0.98 kilometers, you will reach the "孖仔峒南峰" peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing further, at 1.23 kilometers, you will arrive at the "孖仔峒" peak, providing even more breathtaking vistas.
As you near the end of the trail, at 1.55 kilometers, you will encounter another peak known as "Peak," where you can take in the final views before making your way back.
