This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 12.179 kilometers and an elevation gain of 523 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail, making it convenient to park your vehicle. About 0.37 kilometers into the hike, there is a restaurant where you can grab a meal or snack before continuing on your journey.
About midway through the hike, you will encounter the entrance to the Grotta dell'Orso, a cave that you can explore and marvel at its natural beauty. Make sure to stay on the trail and follow any safety guidelines provided for cave exploration.
Towards the end of the hike, approximately 6.09 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Cascate dell'Acquasanta, a stunning waterfall where you can take a break, enjoy the view, and maybe even cool off in the refreshing water.
Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this trail is quite challenging. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
