This extremely difficult 14.7-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning mountainous area.
Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey with a challenging ascent. About 3.8 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Casera Spinoncia, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
As you continue along the trail, around the 7.36-kilometer mark, you'll come across a water source, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottles.
Further ahead, at 2.35 kilometers from the start, you'll find Monte Zoc, a peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views. Although it's slightly off the main trail, the detour is well worth it for the stunning scenery.
Around 5.23 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Porte di Salton, a saddle point that marks a perfect spot to rest and take in the tranquil surroundings before heading back on the trail.
With an elevation gain of 879 meters, this hike is not for the faint-hearted. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear sturdy hiking boots. Check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure, and always be prepared for changing conditions in the mountains.
