This hiking route is located in the picturesque area of Colle San Martino. The trail is an out-and-back type, offering stunning views and historical points of interest along the way.

The hike is super easy, with a total distance of 1.15 kilometers and an elevation gain of 68 meters. It takes approximately 26 minutes to complete the route.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Capitello di San Maurizio, a historic wayside shrine located right at the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.53 kilometers from the start, you will find the Galleria Poggio di Col San Martino Prima Guerra Mondiale, a cave entrance that is a reminder of the First World War.

At the peak of Poggio di Col San Martino, which is 0.58 kilometers from the start, you can enjoy breathtaking views from two different viewpoints. Additionally, there is a spring called Sorgente Fornet located 0.16 kilometers from the trail, ideal for a refreshing break.

Throughout the hike, you might come across various benches and a parking area for your convenience. Remember to bring enough water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this leisurely trek.
