This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Ma Wo Road in the Tai Po District. The trail is 1.222 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 74 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the Ma Wo Pavilion located just 0.59 kilometers from the trailhead. This shelter provides a nice resting spot with scenic views. As you continue on, you will come across a viewpoint (0.61 km) where you can pause to admire the surrounding landscape.

Further ahead, at around 0.61 kilometers from the start, you will find two historic tombs, adding a touch of cultural significance to your hike. Along the way, there are also several water sources and fountains for you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Kam Shan, also known as 錦山, which is located approximately 0.61 kilometers from the start. The peak offers panoramic views of the area, rewarding you for your efforts.
