This challenging hiking route will take you on a circular journey through the breathtaking mountainous landscape of Rifugio al Cedo. The route covers a distance of approximately 11.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1083 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will first come across a wayside shrine at 1.33 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you will reach a drinking water station at 1.83 kilometers, allowing you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated along the trail.

Around the 3.06-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Bivacco Alpe Bondolo wilderness hut, offering a rustic retreat for hikers seeking shelter. Further along at 4.26 kilometers, a little shelter for 2 people provides a cozy resting spot amidst the rugged terrain.

Midway through the hike, at 5.84 kilometers, you will reach Rifugio al Cedo, an alpine hut offering accommodation for weary trekkers. This is a great place to take a break, refuel with some hearty mountain food, and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

As you make your way back, you will pass by a spring at 3.13 kilometers, providing natural refreshment for hikers. Additionally, at 5.81 kilometers, another drinking water station is available to quench your thirst before completing the loop.

Throughout the hike, be prepared for varying trail conditions and steep inclines, especially as you approach the Bocchetta di Cavalla saddle at 2.49 kilometers.
