Hiking : Pizzo Tignolino

This extremely difficult 13.709 km circular hiking route will lead you to the majestic peak of Pizzo Tignolino. The trail starts at a parking area and you will begin your journey towards the peak. Along the way, at 0.34 km from the start, you will find a drinking water station to refill your bottles. As you continue on, at 1.42 km from the start, you will reach Alpe Parpinasca, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the views.

Further along the trail, at 3.67 km from the start, another drinking water station is available for your convenience. As you approach the peak, at 5.61 km from the start, you will encounter Passo di Basagrana, a saddle point offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Finally, at 6.65 km from the start, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Pizzo Tignolino, where you can revel in the breathtaking vistas from the summit.

This challenging hike includes an elevation gain of 1255.0 meters, so make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and dress in layers. Checking the weather forecast before heading out is always recommended. Take breaks when needed and enjoy the rugged beauty of the mountainous terrain.
