Hiking : Balm del Lavanzin

This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty. The trail is 2.806 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 269.0 meters, making it a moderately challenging hike. It is an out-and-back route, with the destination being the Balm del Lavanzin.

Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, there are parking areas available for your convenience. As you continue on, you will pass by the ruins of Baracca and the rock formation known as Masso con freccia bianca, which are both located midway through the hike.

Further along the trail, approximately 0.55 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the stunning Cascata rio Fighera waterfall. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the beauty of the cascading water.

Near the end of the hike, about 1.4 kilometers from the start, you will find the Balm del Lavanzin rock formation, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there is a viewpoint called I Cunscitt where you can stop to enjoy panoramic views of the area.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring an ample supply of water, as the trail does not have regular drinking water stations. Also, check the weather forecast beforehand and wear appropriate hiking gear for the terrain. Enjoy your adventure on this scenic trail!
