This hiking route takes you to the Búnquer dels Coforns in Ribes de Freser, a beautiful area known for its stunning viewpoints and natural landmarks. The trail starts at an elevation of 907 meters and reaches its destination at 1255 meters, providing you with breathtaking views along the way.
Before you begin your adventure, make sure to park your car at one of the nearby parking areas such as the Cafetería bar Gusi or the R145 Ribes de Freser-Camí de Sant Antoni parking lot. Remember to bring plenty of water, as this hike is approximately 3.875 kilometers long and has an elevation gain of 348 meters.
As you make your way through the route, you'll pass by several points of interest including the Via ferrada Roca de la Creu, a popular climbing attraction, and the Roca de la Creu peak. Take a moment to admire the views from els Coforns peak, which is located just 1 kilometer away from the main trail.
Along the way, you'll also find amenities such as the Café de la Plaça and l’Arcada restaurant for a quick break or meal. Make sure to refill your water bottle at the drinking water stations along the trail, such as the Font de Sant Cristòfol.
