Welcome to the hiking route to Costa Alta! This picturesque area offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest to explore along the way.

Starting off, you will find a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you'll come across the Monte Piagne peak, located approximately 1.81 kilometers from the start. Though it's not directly on the trail, the peak offers a great spot to take in the surrounding scenery.

Further along, you'll encounter historic sites such as the wayside shrines at 0.07 kilometers and 0.22 kilometers from the start, adding a cultural touch to your hike. For a quick break, there's a drinking water fountain named Fontana di Cirone at around 0.43 kilometers from the start.

Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 2.28 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Costa Alta peak. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views as a fitting conclusion to your journey.

This out-and-back route spans about 4.558 kilometers in total, with an elevation gain of 224.0 meters. It is classified as an easy difficulty level, suitable for hikers of various experience levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on your adventure.
